Progress made in discussing Power of Siberia 2 project with China, agreement yet to be finalized - Peskov

MOSCOW. May 21 (Interfax) - Progress has been made in discussing the Power of Siberia 2 project with China, the agreement has yet to be finalized, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Progress has been made. Indeed, an understanding has been reached on many key aspects of Power of Siberia 2. Progress can and should be stated, but we have yet to finalize this agreement," Peskov said at a press briefing on Thursday.

"Several nuances" still need to be worked on, he said.

"The work will be continued. We have no doubt that we will achieve practical results very soon," Peskov said.
