Number of meat product suppliers from Russia to Singapore grows to 15 - Rosselkhoznadzor

MOSCOW. May 19 (Interfax) - The number of meat product suppliers from Russia to Singapore has grown to 15, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) told Interfax.

Recently, the competent authority of Singapore, based on materials provided by Rosselkhoznadzor, has allowed four more Russian companies to supply finished meat products and meat and poultry by-products to the country's market.

In particular, Dmitrogorsk Meat Processing Plant (Agropromkomplektatsiya Group, Tver region) received the right to supply finished poultry and pork meat products; JSC Turbaslinski Broileri (Bashkortostan) received the right to supply meat and poultry by-products and Mezheninovskaya Poultry Farm LLC (Tomsk region) received the right to supply finished meat products as well as meat and poultry by-products.

In addition, a culinary products plant (Bryansk region) which is part of Bryansk Meat Company (owned by the Miratorg agricultural holding), will be able to send finished meat products to Singapore.

The Singaporean authority retains the right to conduct audits of enterprises approved for supply, Rosselkhoznadzor said. To optimize and simplify trade, a decision has been made to carry out inspections based on the results of document analysis on a case-by-case basis for each specific manufacturer.
