Heads of Gazprom, Srbijagas discuss cooperation in gas sector
MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax) - The head of Gazprom , Alexei Miller, has held a meeting with the general director of Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic, and the parties discussed cooperation in the gas sector, Gazprom said in a statement.
As reported, Gazprom's contract with Serbia for the supply of Russian gas expires at the end of June.
In addition, Gazprom Group is currently negotiating the sale of a stake in the Serbian company NIS in favor of Hungary's MOL. In 2025, NIS, as a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, was included in the United States' SDN List. The Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said at the time that the U.S. was demanding the complete withdrawal of Russian capital from NIS.
