Russia continuing constant contacts with U.S. on Ukraine settlement - Peskov

MOSCOW. May 13 (Interfax) - Russia continues to maintain ongoing contacts with the United States on the Ukraine settlement via existing channels, and the U.S., as a mediator, is exchanging information with Ukraine, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"As for contacts, we are continuing our dialogue with the Americans via the available channels, these contacts are taking place all the time, and, since they are acting as a mediator, the information exchange with the Ukrainian side also takes place through them," Peskov said. He was asked to comment on recent statements from Moscow and Washington that the Ukraine conflict is coming to an end and whether any contacts, including non-public ones, on this matter are currently underway between Russia and the U.S.
