Sinara Transport Machines to export three locomotives to companies in Uzbekistan in 2026

YEKATERINBURG. May 13 (Interfax) - JSC Sinara Transport Machines (STM) will supply three TEM9 switcher locomotives to Uzbekistan, the company's press service reported.

The first two will be delivered in May and the third by the end of 2026.

The locomotives are produced by JSC Lyudinovsky Locomotive Plant, part of the STM holding, based in the Kaluga region. They are designed for switching and transfer operations at the sidings of enterprises, the statement said.

It said that the locomotives were equipped with a DG-882 generator produced by STM and weighed 14 tonnes, with a capacity of 882 kW.

STM is a full-cycle engineering holding founded in 2007. The company has 24 production sites and more than 60 service centers, and is part of Sinara Group.
