Russia has enough light oil products, despite high world prices - ministry

MOSCOW. April 30 (Interfax) - Despite high oil and gas prices on international markets, the situation on Russia's domestic motor fuel market remains stable, the Energy Ministry told reporters.

"There are currently sufficient reserves of light oil products on the domestic market. There have not been any reports of disruptions in supplies to regions. The industry is completely ready for the period of seasonal growth in demand," the ministry said.

The ministry said it continues to work with the country's regions on a daily basis and is working systematically to ensure stable supplies of motor fuel to consumers.

"The necessary regulatory measures will be taken considering the unfolding balance of supply and demand," the ministry said.
