U.S. once again extends deadline for sale of Lukoil's int'l assets, this time until May 30 - OFAC
MOSCOW. April 29 (Interfax) - The United States Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has extended until May 30 the license, which expires on May 1, to negotiate and enter into conditional agreements with Lukoil regarding the sale of Lukoil International GmbH (LIG), which owns the oil company's foreign assets, or any controlled company.
OFAC must approve any transactions separately.
