Inflation in Azerbaijan amounts to 2.7% in Q1
BAKU. April 24 (Interfax) - Inflation in Azerbaijan amounted to 2.7% in Q1 2026, the country's State Statistics Committee told Interfax.
According to statistics, inflation amounted to 0.5% in March.
Food products in the country rose 3.4% in price in January-March 2026, while non-food products rose 2.8% and services rose 2.5%.
Average annual inflation at the end of March stood at 5.7%, compared to 5.6% at the end of 2025. Average annual inflation for the group of food products was 6.8% (also 6.8% at the end of 2025), while for non-food products it was 3.6% (2.5%) and for services it was 5.7% (6.5%).
The Azerbaijani Economy Ministry forecasts average annual inflation in the country at 5.6% in 2026.
Inflation in Azerbaijan amounted to 5.4% in 2025.
