Rosstat confirms estimate that Russia's GDP grew 1.0% in 2025

MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - The Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) has confirmed the estimate that Russia's GDP grew 1.0% in 2025, as published in February, Rosstat said, providing a second estimate of GDP for last year and updated quarterly data for 2025.

Rosstat also published its first estimate for Russian GDP growth in Q4 2025, also showing growth of 1.0% compared to Q4 2024.

Meantime, the quarterly growth for Q1-Q3 2025 was revised slightly. Russian GDP grew 1.3% year-on-year in Q1 2025, previously 1.4%, according to revised data. GDP grew 1.0% in Q2 2025, previously 1.1%, and GDP grew 0.8% year-on-year in Q3, previously 0.6%.

Russia's GDP was 214.261 trillion rubles in current prices in 2025. The GDP deflator was 104.9% for 2025 relative to average annual prices in 2024.
