Kremlin hopes U.S. will soon have more time to work on Ukraine issue - Peskov
MOSCOW. April 8 (Interfax) - The Kremlin is hopeful that U.S. representatives will have more time in the foreseeable future to continue negotiations on Ukraine, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"We hope that they will have more time and more opportunities in the foreseeable future to meet in the trilateral format. We look forward to it. And we continue to greatly appreciate the peace efforts of the U.S. negotiators and of [U.S.] President [Donald] Trump personally on the Ukraine track," Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.
U.S. negotiators are currently tied up in the Iran settlement efforts, he said.
