Fuel prices in Ukraine continue to rise

MOSCOW. April 6 (Interfax) - Gasoline prices at Ukrainian filling stations rose by another UAH 1-2/liter, diesel fuel prices increased by UAH 1-3/liter, and LNG prices added UAH 0.9-1.5/liter over the weekend, Ukrainian media said after monitoring major filling station chains.

Diesel fuel prices increased by UAH 3/liter at Ukrnafta and UPG stations, the most significant hike among all the chains monitored. However, their fuel is still cheaper than at other chains: regular diesel fuel costs UAH 87.9/liter at Ukrnafta and UAH 90.9/liter at UPG, while diesel fuel+ costs UAH 91.9/liter and UAH 93.9/liter, respectively.

Okko increased its diesel and diesel+ fuel price by UAH 2.1/liter to UAH 92/liter and UAH 95/liter, respectively; WOG and Socar raised the price by UAH 2/liter, and Parallel by UAH 1/liter. The highest price for diesel+ is currently UAH 94.99/liter at Socar.

As for gasoline prices, Socar and WOG raised them by UAH 2/liter, OKKO by UAH 1.9/liter, UPG by UAH 1.5/liter, Ukrnafta by UAH 0.91/liter, and Parallel left its price unchanged.

LNG prices rose by UAH 1.5/liter at Parallel, by UAH 1/liter at Ukrnafta, UPG, and WOG, and by UAH 0.9/liter at OKKO. Socar left the price unchanged.

Experts directly link the rise in fuel prices in Ukraine to the Middle East events.
