Oil and gas revenues to Russian budget total 617 bln rubles in March, shortfall 234.3 bln rubles - Finance Ministry
MOSCOW. April 3 (Interfax) - Oil and gas revenues to the Russian federal budget totaled 617 billion rubles in March 2026 versus 432.3 billion rubles in February, it follows from data published on the Finance Ministry's website.
These revenues totaled 1.443 billion rubles in the first quarter, including the 825.6 billion rubles from January and February.
They fell below the baseline 851.3 billion rubles once again in March; as such, there was a shortfall of 234.3 billion rubles for the month.
In February, the shortfall of oil and gas revenues was estimated at 153.2 billion rubles, and 182.2 billion rubles in January. Baseline oil and gas revenues for these months totaled 575.5 billion rubles and 585.5 billion rubles respectively.
