Ukraine's state budget revenues up 6.1%, general fund revenues down 15% YoY in March 2026 - Finance Ministry
MOSCOW. April 1 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian state budget's general fund revenues in March 2026 amounted to UAH 266.5 billion as of 4:00 p.m. on March 31, which is 15% less compared to March 2025 due to significantly lower grant volumes, Ukrainian media reported citing a Finance Ministry press release.
International grant aid in March 2026 decreased to UAH 8.8 billion from UAH 62.9 billion in February and UAH 101.4 billion in January, compared to UAH 97.8 billion in March 2025, it said.
Budget receipts from the State Tax Service amounted to UAH 168.8 billion in March 2026, compared to UAH 159.4 billion in March 2025, the ministry said.
Profit tax was the largest revenue source in March 2026, totaling UAH 88.9 billion (UAH 86 billion in March 2025), followed by personal income and military tax amounting to UAH 33 billion (UAH 26.8 billion), and value-added tax UAH 23 billion, with a refund of UAH 18.2 billion (UAH 25.8 billion, with a refund of UAH 13.7 billion, respectively).
Excise tax receipts totaled UAH 16.2 billion (UAH 14.2 billion), and rent payments UAH 3.9 billion (UAH 3.9 billion).
Payments from the State Customs Service in March 2026 amounted to UAH 78.8 billion, compared to UAH 51.4 billion in March 2025.
Another UAH 58.3 billion was collected as unified social contributions (USC) to the pension and social insurance funds as of March 31, compared to UAH 43.7 billion collected as of March 28, 2025.
Together with the special fund, Ukraine's budget revenues in March of this year amounted to UAH 382.8 billion, which is 6.1% more than in March 2025.
As reported, Ukraine's 2026 state budget was adopted with the revenues of UAH 2.90 trillion, excluding grants, and expenditures of UAH 4.77 trillion, including general fund revenues of UAH 2.61 trillion and expenditures of UAH 4.38 trillion.
