Belarus remains among Russia's main transportation destinations in Q1, average cargo weight increases 20% - Delovye Linii
MOSCOW. March 30 (Interfax) - The average weight of cargo delivered from Belarus to Russia increased 20% year-on-year in Q1 2026, according to the transport and logistics operator Delovye Linii.
"Belarus remains one of the key destinations among international shipments. The highest demand for transportation is recorded from representatives of manufacturing and medical enterprises, which is reflected in the structure of freight turnover. It is also worth noting that the average cargo weight at the beginning of 2026 increased 20% compared to 2025," the operator's press service told Interfax.
In the opposite direction - from Russia to Belarus - instruments, equipment, components and auto parts are most frequently shipped. Goods from Russia mainly come from Moscow, Smolensk, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod, while in the opposite direction they come from Minsk, Gomel, Borisov, Mogilev and Bobruisk.
Delovye Linii has been operating in the cargo delivery market since 2001, with its central office located in St. Petersburg. The company is included in the Russian Federation's list of systemically important transport enterprises and comprises 289 divisions in 222 cities of the country. Its delivery geography includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, China, East Asia and Europe.
