Industrial producer prices in Ukraine up 22.3% in Feb 2026 - State Statistics Service
MOSCOW. March 25 (Interfax) - Industrial producer prices in Ukraine soared 22.3% in February 2026 after going up 3.5% in January and dropping 1.1% in December 2025, Ukrainian media reported, citing data from the State Statistics Service.
"The main factor was an administrative revision of tariffs on supplies of electricity, gas, steam, and conditioned air (+53.1%) in line with a decision of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (resolution dated January 16, 2026)," the service said.
Producer prices rose 34.5% year-on-year in February 2026, versus 11.2% in January.
"Given the regulatory nature of this factor, the current price spike does not point to the emergence of any sustainable inflationary trend and is not a reason for overly pessimistic assessments of future dynamics," the service said.
As reported, industrial producer prices in Ukraine increased 8.2% year-on-year in 2025.
