Russian household inflation expectations rise to 13.4% in March, returning to level of May 2025 - survey commissioned by Central Bank
MOSCOW. March 18 (Interfax) - Russian household inflation expectations rose to 13.4% in March 2026, returning to the level of May 2025, according to a survey by inFOM conducted at the request of the Central Bank of Russia.
It was previously reported that citizens' inflation expectations decreased to 13.1% in February. In January 2026, the indicator remained at the December 2025 level of 13.7%.
The population's assessment of observed inflation rose sharply in March, amounting to 15.6% (close to the levels of May-June 2025). Previously, this indicator had not changed for four consecutive months - it remained at 14.5% from November 2025 to February 2026.
The latest survey was conducted on March 3-12, 2026.
