Kyivstar's EBITDA up 30% in 2025

MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax) - Ukraine's largest mobile operator Kyivstar increased its 2025 EBITDA denominated in hryvni by 30% to UAH 27 billion, and that denominated in dollars by 25.8% to $648 million, Ukrainian media reported citing the company's annual report.

Kyivstar Group Ltd said in its report that it increased its revenue in 2025 by 30.3% year-on-year to UAH 48.2 billion, while in dollar terms, the increase was 25.9% to $1.157 billion.

Adjusted net profit for 2025 increased by 1.1% to $286 million (3.9% increase denominated in hryvni), and earnings per share were $1.32.

At the same time, Kyivstar's unadjusted net profit decreased by 56.2% to $124 million (decreased by 54.7% in hryvni), and earnings per share were $0.57. The difference with the adjusted figures was due to non-cash expenses of $162 million related to Kyivstar's listing in Q3 2025.

Kyivstar expects its revenue to grow 15%-18% and EBITDA to grow 12%-15% in hryvnia terms in 2026, or by 8%-11% and by 5%-8%, respectively, in dollars.

The company expects its capital expenditure intensity in 2026 to be 23%-26% of revenue, compared to 30.3% in 2025.
