Russia boosts exports of agricultural products to Turkey 9% in 2025 to $3.8 bln - Agroexport
MOSCOW. March 10 (Interfax) - Russia exported agricultural products to Turkey worth $3.8 billion in 2025, up 9% compared to the previous year, the Agroexport federal center told Interfax, citing expert estimates.
Exports in physical terms exceeded 12 million tonnes. The dynamics of this indicator were not provided.
The largest revenue last year came from wheat exports at around $1.2 billion. Sunflower oil was supplied in the amount of over $1.1 billion, and bran for nearly $322 million. The top five also included grain legumes ($296 million), oilseed cake and meal ($178 million).
According to the center, rice shipments showed the highest growth rates. While export revenue from them amounted to $16,000 in 2024, it grew to $8.8 million in 2025. Most of it came from husked rice. In addition, flaxseed exports increased 14 times, molasses exports were up 2.9-fold and barley exports rose 2.7-fold.
The maximum level of Russian agricultural exports to Turkey in value terms was recorded in 2022, at over $5 billion.
