Tajik ambassador to U.S. discusses cooperation in developing strategic minerals with Mooney Group CEO

DUSHANBE. March 6 (Interfax) - Tajik Ambassador to the United States Zavqi Zavqizoda and The Mooney Group CEO James Mooney have met to discuss opportunities for developing economic and investment cooperation, the Tajik embassy to the U.S. said.

"The parties also discussed issues related to rare and strategically important minerals, precious and semi-precious metals, and other natural resources of the Republic of Tajikistan," it said.

No details of the meeting were provided.
