Armenian, Azerbaijani FMs discuss regional situation by phone
YEREVAN. March 6 (Interfax) - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov discussed regional events by phone on Thursday, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"During the conversation, the ministers exchanged views on recent developments in the region. The sides expressed concern and noted the importance of refraining from actions that could further escalate tensions, emphasizing the need to ensure stability and security," the statement said.
The ministers noted the importance of enduring peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, it said.
