Ukraine's industrial production down 8.1% YoY in Jan 2026 - statistics

MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - Industrial production in Ukraine decreased 8.1% year-on-year in January 2026, Ukrainian media reported, citing data from the State Statistics Service.

Ukraine's industrial output fell 14.8% month-on-month in January 2026, the report said.

The volume of production in the mining and quarrying industries dropped 9.7% year-on-year in January 2026. The decrease for the processing industry was 6% year-on-year, and 12.7% for the electricity, gas and steam supply sectors.

As reported, Ukraine's industrial production fell 1.7% year-on-year in 2025, having grown 4.7% in 2024.
