List of key payment infrastructure facilities in Ukraine remains unchanged as result of 2025 monitoring - NBU
MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has left the list of critical technological operators of payment services unchanged based on the results of the 2025 monitoring, Ukrainian media reported, citing the regulator's website.
"As in previous years, the National Bank's Electronic Payment System (EPS) remains the only systemically important payment system," the media quoted the regulator as saying in a statement.
The NBU has retained five vital payment systems: Visa and MasterCard (both from the United States), PrivatMoney (PrivatBank), NovaPay (NovaPay LLC), and Finansovy Mir (Ukrainian Payment System LLC).
According to the regulator, the list of significant technological operators of payment services has also remained unchanged since last year: AC DC Processing LLC, Ukrainian Processing Center PJSC, and TAS Link LLC.
The regulator said that the payment infrastructure facilities are categorized depending on their significance and in line with international practice in order to tighten control over their reliability, and that critical oversight facilities are subject to increased requirements, particularly regarding continuity of operations, management and organization, and risk management systems.
