Ukraine's state budget revenues up 28.2% MoM in Feb 2026 - Finance Ministry

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - The revenues of Ukraine's state budget general fund amounted to UAH 222.6 billion as of February 27, and they reached UAH 313.6 billion taking into account the special fund, which is 76.9% and 28.2% more than the respective figures in February 2025, Ukrainian media reported citing the Finance Ministry.

"The start of the 2026 fiscal year is marked by positive revenue dynamics upheld, in particular, by systemic financial support from international partners," media quoted the ministry as saying in a press release.

As in January, international grant aid continued to be an important source of general fund revenues in February, amounting to UAH 62.9 billion (compared to UAH 101.4 billion in January), which contributed to the notable difference from the 2025 figures, the ministry said.

Budget receipts from the State Tax Service amounted to UAH 91 billion in February 2026 (UAH 75.6 billion in February 2025).

The other major revenue sources were personal income tax and military tax amounting to UAH 31.4 billion (UAH 25.8 billion in February last year), and value-added tax of UAH 23.5 billion, with a refund of UAH 16.2 billion (UAH 19.8 billion, with a refund of UAH 12.9 billion, respectively).

Excise tax receipts totaled UAH 14.9 billion (UAH 15.2 billion), corporate income tax UAH 13.6 billion (UAH 11.0 billion), and rent payments UAH 5.9 billion (UAH 2.5 billion).

Payments from the State Customs Service totaled UAH 63.8 billion, (UAH 44.2 billion).

Another UAH 50.9 billion was collected as unified social contributions (USC) to the pension and social insurance funds as of February 27, compared to UAH 43.2 billion as of that date last year.

As reported, the Ukraine's 2026 state budget was adopted with the revenues of UAH 2.90 trillion, excluding grants, and expenditures of UAH 4.77 trillion, including general fund revenues of UAH 2.61 trillion and expenditures of UAH 4.38 trillion.
