Belarus raises tariff for petroleum products transit
MINSK. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The Belarusian Ministry of Anti-Monopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) has approved a new tariff for petroleum products being transported along trunk pipelines in its territory, to be effective from April 1, 2026, it follows from a decree published by the ministry on the Belarusian National Legal Internet Portal on Friday.
"Enforce a tariff for the service of transporting petroleum products through trunk pipelines located in the republic's territory, provided by unitary production enterprise Zapad-Transnefteprodukt, in the amount of $2.42 (without value-added tax) per tonne of petroleum products transported over a distance of 100 kilometers," the statement reads.
The tariff is currently at $2.36 per tonne. As such, it will increase by 2.5%.
