Russian Finance Minister Siluanov not ruling out slight shift in 2026 budget indicators owing to external situation

MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax) - The Russian government could possibly slightly adjust the federal budget indicators for 2026 owing to the external environment, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said.

"It is possible that the indicators could be slightly shifted or changed given the external environment," Siluanov said in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV.

Siluanov emphasized that all commitments will be secured with the necessary funding.

The 2026 budget law projects a deficit of 3.8 trillion rubles, or 1.6% of GDP. Budget revenues for the current year should be 40.3 trillion rubles and expenditures should be 44.1 trillion rubles.
