Belarusian industrial output falls 3.4% in Jan
MINSK. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Belarusian industrial output fell 3.4% year-on-year at constant prices to 16.6 billion Belarusian rubles in January 2026, national statistical committee Belstat said.
The manufacturing industry again affected output most of all - this fell 7.5% in January. Output also fell in the extractive industry, by 1.3%. It grew 17.5% in the supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning and fell 2.9% in water utilities.
Industry fell 1.8% in 2025, grew 5.4% in 2024 and 7.7% growth in 2023 and fell 5.4% in 2022.
