IAEA mission in Ukraine expanded to another 2 substations critical for NPPs - Grossi

MOSCOW. Feb 13 (Interfax) - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission in Ukraine has been expanded to another two power substations critical for the operation of Ukrainian nuclear power plants, bringing the total number of substations monitored by the agency to 12, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said.

"Two additional substations were added to the mission, bringing the total number of substation visits by IAEA teams to 12," Ukrainian media quoted Grossi as saying in a statement available on the IAEA website.

The IAEA teams at the Rovno and Chernobyl NPPs also safely rotated earlier this week, it said.
