Central Bank of Azerbaijan forecasts GDP growth of 2.4% in 2026, 2.9% in 2027
BAKU. Feb 4 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) forecasts that the country's GDP will grow 2.4% this year, CBA Governor Taleh Kazimov said.
"In terms of economic growth, our forecasts are optimistic. GDP is forecast to grow 2.4% in 2026 and non-oil GDP by 4%," Kazimov said at a press conference on Wednesday.
He said that the regulator expected GDP to grow 2.9% in 2027 and 4.3% in the non-oil sector.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy forecasts that GDP will grow 2.9% this year and 3.3% next year.
Azerbaijan's economy grew 1.4% in 2025.
