Russia increases revenue from exports of agricultural products to Iraq 2.2-fold in 2025 to $178 mln - Agroexport

MOSCOW. Feb 3 (Interfax) - Russia exported agricultural products to Iraq worth $178 million in 2025, up 2.2-fold from the previous year, while in physical terms supplies increased 2.1-fold to almost 750,000 tonnes, the Agroexport federal center said, citing preliminary expert estimates.

Wheat made up the largest share in exports at almost 400,000 tonnes. More than 108,000 tonnes of barley were exported along with 91,000 tonnes of other grains, around 61,000 tonnes of flour and over 28,000 tonnes of millet.

Exports of Russian agricultural products to Iraq have increased 37 times in physical terms over the past five years, from 20,000 tonnes, Agroexport said.
