MOSCOW. Feb 2 (Interfax) - Trade between Russia and Belarus totaled around 4 trillion rubles in January-November 2025 and the two countries continue to expand their partnership, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"We are continuing to increase bilateral trade. It amounted to practically 4 trillion rubles in the first 11 months of 2025," the prime minister said in his speech at a meeting of the ministerial council of the Union State in Moscow on Monday.

He said that the two members of the Union State continued to expand industrial cooperation and were implementing 26 integration projects to achieve technological sovereignty in areas such as the automobile industry and agricultural machinery, microelectronics and optics, machinery and aircraft production and shipbuilding.

The parties also continue to collaborate in the field of staff training.

"As our meeting approaches, a new intergovernmental agreement on the terms of the Belarusian-Russian University's activity has been signed. This is a leading education and research center with around 4,000 students. The document which has been signed consolidates its status as an inter-state educational organization and stipulates a unified level of scholarship support," Mishustin said.
