Russia increases revenue from dairy product exports to UAE almost threefold in 2025 to $1 mln - Agroexport

MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Russia's export revenue from dairy product supplies to the UAE amounted to $1 million in 2025 according to preliminary estimates, up 2.9-fold compared to the previous year, while in physical terms, supplies increased 3.3-fold to 275 tonnes, the Agroexport federal center said.

The most exported product was ice cream, with supplies worth $364,000 (up almost 1.5-fold). Supplies of cheeses and cottage cheese were worth $234,000 (up 4.4-fold) and exports of milk and cream were worth $232,000 (up 8.4-fold).

In addition, supplies of dairy whey to the UAE were launched in 2025 (worth $51,000). Exports of fermented milk products amounted to $73,000. Exports were insignificant the year before.

As reported, according to data from the Agriculture Ministry, the trade turnover of agricultural products between Russia and the UAE amounted to approximately $400 million in 2025. The largest amounts of supplies from Russia consist of grains - primarily wheat and barley, as well as frozen fish, poultry meat, sunflower oil and pulses. Exports of mineral fertilizers also show positive dynamics: over the past year, exports to the UAE increased fivefold.
