Russia boosts exports of crustaceans 13% to over $2 bln in 2025 - Agroexport center
MOSCOW. Jan 21 (Interfax) - Russia boosted revenue from exporting crustaceans 13% year-on-year to over $2 billion and 10% year-on-year to 91,000 tonnes in physical terms in 2025, the Agriculture Ministry's Agroexport center said, citing expert estimates.
The top 5 importers included China at $1.2 billion, South Korea at around $750 million, Japan at over $33 million, Vietnam at over $15 million, and Belarus at around $8 million.
"The undisputed export leader is live, fresh, or chilled crabs, at nearly $1.5 billion in exports. Frozen crabs at over $500 million and frozen shrimp/prawns at over $86 million account for a significant share," Agroexport said.
Agroexport clarified that the data on deliveries to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are for 11M 2025.
