Kazakhstan's oil exports total almost 80 mln tonnes in 2025 - Energy Ministry

ASTANA. Jan 20 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan exported around 80 million tonnes of oil in 2025, the Kazakh Energy Ministry told Interfax.

"Oil exports amounted to approximately 78.7 million tonnes in 2025," the ministry said in response to Interfax's inquiry.

The Energy Ministry recalled that Kazakhstan temporarily reduced oil shipments via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) marine terminal in December due to the forced suspension of the Single Point Mooring (SPM-3) following a UAV attack and due to bad weather.

"To minimize the impact of these factors on the industry and prevent a shutdown in production, the ministry carried out work to redistribute export flows. A portion of the oil was redirected to alternative routes. In particular, an increase in transportation along the Atyrau-Samara route and a rise in supplies to China were recorded. Transportation via other export routes remained at average planned levels," the ministry said.
