Russia increases margarine exports 27% in 2025 to almost $350 mln - Agroexport
MOSCOW. Jan 13 (Interfax) - Russia exported margarine worth almost $350 million in 2025, up 27% year-on-year, the Agroexport federal center said, citing expert estimates.
In physical terms, shipments exceeded 200,000 tonnes. A comparative figure was not provided.
The main buyer was Kazakhstan with a 26% share. Uzbekistan accounted for 15%, Tajikistan for 13%, Belarus for 11% and Azerbaijan for 9%.
Data on shipments to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are for 10 months, with full-year results to come later, Agroexport said.
According to the report, the historical maximum for Russian margarine supplies was recorded in 2022, when exports exceeded $715 million.
