Russian president appoints Dmitry Polyansky as envoy to OSCE

MOSCOW. Dec 29 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Dmitry Polyansky as Russia's new permanent representative to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), as follows from a presidential decree published on the official online database of legal acts.

"Dmitry Alexeyevich Polyansky shall be appointed as the Russian Federation's permanent representative to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna, the Republic of Austria," the document says.

The president also relieved Alexander Lukashevich, Russia's previous envoy to the OSCE, of his office and appointed him as Russia's representative to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) statutory and other bodies in Minsk, Belarus.
