Russia's Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle carrying spacecraft launched from Plesetsk Cosmodrome - Defense Ministry
MOSCOW. Dec 25 (Interfax) - A Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle carrying a satellite lifted off from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome on Thursday, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"A combat unit of the Aerospace Forces' Space Forces successfully launched a Soyuz-2.1a medium-class launch vehicle carrying a spacecraft from the Russian Defense Ministry's State Test Cosmodrome (Plesetsk Cosmodrome) in the Arkhangelsk Region at 5:11 p.m. (Moscow time) on Thursday, December 25," the ministry said in a statement.
