Zemun acquires indirect control over O'Key hypermarkets

MOSCOW. Dec 11 (Interfax) - Zemun LLC has acquired 99% of RBF Retail LLC, which bought the O'Key hypermarket business in Russia from the eponymous Luxembourg-based group in November, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE) showed.

Zemun was registered in Tyumen at the beginning of 2024. The company's sole owner and CEO is Olga Zaporozhets.

Zemun thus now indirectly controls the O'Key hypermarket chain. Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service approved the company's application concerning a deal with RBF Retail in October, but did not provide further details.

Luxembourg-based O'Key Group S.A. decided at the end of 2024 to sell its hypermarket business to management and the deal was closed in November 2025. O'Key has not commented on information about Zemun.
