Russia hits most national project targets in 2025 - Putin

MOSCOW. Dec 8 (Interfax) - Most of the targets set by Russian national projects have been hit but seven risk being missed this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Nineteen national projects have started, and successfully so, overall. As part of efforts to achieve the national goals we have 121 targets, of which seven, unfortunately, are currently at high risk of being unfulfilled. Still, most of the targets set for the current year have been achieved," Putin told the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects on Monday.

Among the goals successfully achieved Putin listed plans to resettle citizens from uninhabitable homes, agricultural production growth, an increased share of creative industries, progress in the development of national technologies in the fuel and energy sector and in peaceful uses of nuclear power.

"The industry of waste management and forming a closed loop economy is developing at a good pace," Putin said.
