Belaz supplies batch of 11 quarry dump trucks to Polyus's Krasnoyarsk deposits
MINSK. Dec 5 (Interfax) - The Belarusian Automobile Plant (Belaz) has shipped a batch of Belaz-7513T dump trucks with a load capacity of 130 tonnes for work at the Olimpiada and Blagodatnoye gold deposits (developed by JSC Polyus Krasnoyarsk , part of Polyus Group), the press service of the Belarusian enterprise said.
"Belaz has supplied 11 Belaz-7513T quarry dump trucks with a load capacity of 130 tonnes to a key gold-mining region of Russia. The equipment shipped in November will be commissioned by the end of the year. The new Belarusian heavy-duty trucks will transport sulfide ore containing precious metals from the Eastern Siberian quarries of the Olimpiada and Blagodatnoye deposits in Krasnoyarsk Territory to processing plants," the press service said.
"In 2026-2027, the Belaz equipment fleet of Krasnoyarsk Territory gold mining companies will be reinforced with another 22 top-series Belaz-7513 dump trucks," it said.
The Belaz-7513T is equipped with a diesel engine with a power of around 1,600 horsepower, and comes with a pneumohydraulic suspension, a traction generator and alternating current electric motors. "It is especially important for miners that the new Belaz trucks are adapted for operation under the most severe loads in harsh Siberian conditions - a long winter with temperatures down to minus 50 degrees," it said.
