Russia exports dried fish to Brazil for first time, resumes vodka exports - Agroexport center

MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax) - Russia exported more than 24 tonnes of dried fish to Brazil totaling nearly $400,000 in 10M 2025, the Agriculture Ministry's Agroexport center told Interfax.

Most of the shipments were cod. Russia did not previously supply dried fish to the Brazilian market, the center said, noting that, "Brazilians now have an excellent snack to go with beer while watching football matches."

Moreover, Russia resumed shipments of vodka to the country in October after a break since December 2024. Russia exported alcoholic beverages, including vodka, at nearly 50 tonnes totaling over $125,000 in the period.

Russia exported over $4 million worth of agricultural products to Brazil from January to October 2025, including wheat gluten, potato flakes and granules, flour confectionery products, active yeast, and others.
