Soyuz MS-28 with Russian-U.S. crew takes off from Baikonur for ISS
MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax) - A Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-28 manned spaceship took off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on Thursday, Roscosmos said in a stream.
The launch was performed from Baikonur Area 31 at 12:28 p.m. Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikayev and NASA astronaut Christopher Williams are operating the spaceship.
Soyuz MS-28 is scheduled to dock with the Rassvet module of the International Space Station's Russian segment at 3:38 p.m.
The manned spaceship's flight will take a two-orbit shortcut and last about three hours and ten minutes.
