Turkmenistan's state budget surplus 1.5% of revenue in 2024

ASHGABAT. Nov 24 (Interfax) - Turkmenistan's parliament has approved a report on the 2024 budget's execution, according to which there was a surplus of 1.98 billion manat or 1.5% of revenue, the governmental Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.

Budget revenue was 130.12 billion manat and expenditure 128.145 billion manat.

The approved 2024 budget was originally balanced with planned revenue and expenditure of 102.3 billion manat so actual revenue and expenditure were 27% and 25% above target, respectively.
