Russia exports over 67,000 tonnes of oats in Oct, record for month - Agroexport center
MOSCOW. Nov 24 (Interfax) - Russia exported over 67,000 tonnes of oats totaling over $15 million in October.
The Agriculture Ministry's Agroexport center said that the figure was a monthly record for the past four years. The previous record of 115,000 tonnes was set in October 2021, with monthly deliveries having not exceeded 45,000 tonnes in subsequent years.
China was the main buyer of Russian oats, boosting purchases 9% year-on-year to over 211,000 tonnes and 17% year-on-year to $47 million in 10M 2025, with Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates rounding out the top three buyers in terms of volume.
Russia overall exported nearly 230,000 tonnes of oats totaling nearly $51 million in 10M 2025.
