Port fee rates in Russia could be indexed 15% in 2026 - Rosmorport CEO
MOSCOW. Nov 21 (Interfax) - State-regulated port fees at Russian seaports could be indexed by 15% in 2026, Rosmorport federal state unitary enterprise CEO Sergei Pylin told reporters on the sidelines of the Transport of Russia 2025 forum.
"Yes, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) recently submitted a draft order to the Justice Ministry on indexing regulated port fees, not all of them, but only those regulated by the FAS. Once the Justice Ministry has approved the document, the rates will be increased by 15% effective as of January 1, 2026," Pylin said in response to whether port fee indexation is expected next year.
Pylin recalled that port fees were raised by 4.9% in 2024.
Regulated port dues include canal, navigation, lighthouse, and icebreaker fees, Pylin explained.
