Agricultural production down 12.4% in Ukraine in January-October 2025 - State Statistics Service
MOSCOW. Nov 21 (Interfax) - Agricultural production decreased by 12.4% in Ukraine in January-October 2025, versus the respective period of 2024, Ukrainian media said, citing the State Statistics Service.
In the first ten months of this year, Ukraine's agricultural production index stood at 87.6% versus January-October 2024. In particular, the crop production indicator amounted to 85.7%, and the livestock production indicator stood at 96.5%.
Agricultural enterprises suffered slightly greater losses, with production reaching 85.1% of last year's level. Crop production stood at 82.5%, versus 99.0% in livestock production.
Meanwhile, households showed a better performance at 93.6%. Crop production reached 93.9%, while livestock production reached 92.5%.
The dynamics was positive in one region only: agricultural production reached 103.5% in the Transcarpathian region. It posted 1.7% growth in crop production and 7.2% growth in livestock production.
