Vladivostok, Qingdao airports intend to develop passenger routes, cargo logistics

VLADIVOSTOK. Nov 13 (Interfax) - JSC Vladivostok International Airport (VIA) and Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport have entered into a strategic partnership agreement, Vladivostok Airport's press service said.

"The agreement aims to develop a long-term bilateral partnership, jointly enhancing the airports' international competitiveness, and further developing passenger routes and cargo logistics," the press service said.

Currently, there are no direct flights between Vladivostok and Qingdao (in China's Shandong province).

It was previously reported that China accounts for the main share of flights from Vladivostok Airport abroad (62.5% in 2025) - flights to 10 destinations in this country are operated by 11 airlines.

Vladivostok Airport can accommodate all types of aircraft. The passenger terminal has a capacity of 3.5 million passengers. The route network includes approximately 40 destinations, served by around 20 Russian and foreign airlines. In 2024, the airport handled 2.97 million passengers, up 17% from the previous year.
