Gazprom's monthly mineral extraction tax deduction of 5.5 bln rubles to be in effect from Aug 2028, presumably until 2034 - MniFin

MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - Gazprom's monthly mineral extraction tax deduction of 5.5 billion rubles will be in effect from August 2028 until legislative changes are made, presumably until 2034, Russian Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Sazanov told reporters.

Asked whether Gazprom's mineral extraction tax deduction of 5.5 billion rubles after August 2028 would last indefinitely, Sazanov said: "It will remain in effect until other changes are made to legislation. We need to look at the transitional provisions. If the norm hasn't been reduced, it will remain in effect, we assume, until 2034."
