Negotiations with Chinese leadership confirm aspiration for partnership - Russian PM
MOSCOW. Nov 6 (Interfax) - Negotiations with the Chinese leadership have confirmed the aspiration for developing the Russian-Chinese partnership, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.
"The recent negotiations with the Chinese leadership, President Xi Jinping and State Council Premier Li Qiang, have confirmed the aspiration for further strengthening of the comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction with China. We also held the 30th, jubilee regular meeting of the Russian and Chinese heads of government and discussed significant items on the bilateral agenda and the fulfillment of tasks set by our leaders," Mishustin, who had returned from a visit to China, said at a Russian government meeting on Thursday.
A number of important documents were signed during the visit "to develop practical cooperation with the Chinese colleagues and cooperation" in investments, energy, transport and the digital sector among others, Mishustin said. Many decisions were made to expand the access of Russian agricultural products to the Chinese market, he said.
"We will keep working in every key area of cooperation with China. Dear colleagues, please carefully monitor the fulfillment of the agreements reached during the visit in your areas," Mishustin said.
