Conditions needed for Putin-Trump meeting yet to be provided - Russian deputy FM
MOSCOW. Nov 5 (Interfax) - A meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump requires thorough preparations, and the necessary conditions have yet to be provided, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told the press on Wednesday.
"A summit, any summit, requires thorough preparations and close consideration of every aspect. Neither of the two conditions of organizing such a meeting have been met just yet," Ryabkov said, while commenting on the summit's possibility.
"The foreign ministries are working actively on the content of such a contact. At this stage, the main thing we need to do is to add the specific content to the framework defined by the presidents at the meeting in Anchorage in mid-August," he said.
