Visa waiver agreement between Russia, Jordan to enter into effect on Dec 13 - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Oct 31 (Interfax) - The agreement between Russia and Jordan mutually waiving visa requirements for citizens of the two countries is entering into effect on December 13, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"The agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the mutual waiver of visa requirements for citizens of the two countries, signed in Moscow on August 20, 2025, is entering into effect on December 13, 2025," the ministry said on its website.

"In accordance with this document, citizens of the Russian Federation will be able to enter and stay in Jordan's territory without visas for 30 days during every visit provided that they do not intend to perform labor or commercial activities, study or permanently reside in Jordan," the ministry said.

"At that, the total length of stay must not exceed 90 days during the calendar year," it said.

"Citizens of Jordan are also granted similar rights while visiting the Russian Federation," it said.
